Planning to Visit the Philippines Soon?

There are hundreds of tourists attractions in the Philippines. But as a lover of the Island of Marinduque (Home of the Morions and Heart of the Philippines), I am indeed partial to its beauty, charm and its friendly and hospitable residents. Therefore, help me achieve my dream of seeing this island becomes a world tourist destination, by telling all your friends and relatives about this site. Welcome, to you all, new readers and faithful followers of this site! The photo above is Poctoy White Beach in Torrijos, Marinduque with beautiful and majestic Mt Malindig in the background. Some of the photos and videos on this site, I do not own. However, I have no intention on infringing your copyrights.

Most Popular Non-Filipino Vloggers about the Philippines

In my previous posting, I discussed the term Filipino-baiting. It referred to actions of non-Filipino vloggers just to earn clicks and views solely for cash and money. Their feelings for the Philippines are not real but artificial and insincere. Their vlogs are targeted mainly to attract Filipino subscribers and thus cash.

The following are eight most popular foreign vloggers living in the Philippines. Two in the List, Making it Happened and the Juicy Vlog are accused of Filipino Baiting. View their vlogs and judged for yourself.

Personally, I watched Becoming Filipino by Kyle Jennermann from Canada. His vlogs about Marinduque my second home, I treasured very much.   Here are his videos about Marinduque.

There are several non-Filipinos vlogging about the Philippines claiming they are travel blogs. Some of them are good, others are trashy.

As of 2021, the Philippines has the highest social media usage rate in the world and their internet use is 60% higher than the average, at 11 hours a day! That's staggering online time. And it's been that way for the past few years. On social media, Filipinos spend an average of 4 hours and 15 minutes every day (dated Nov 2, 2021). So the Philippines is a heaven for Filipino-baiting and a cash cow for vloggers.
