Planning to Visit the Philippines Soon?

There are hundreds of tourists attractions in the Philippines. But as a lover of the Island of Marinduque (Home of the Morions and Heart of the Philippines), I am indeed partial to its beauty, charm and its friendly and hospitable residents. Therefore, help me achieve my dream of seeing this island becomes a world tourist destination, by telling all your friends and relatives about this site. Welcome, to you all, new readers and faithful followers of this site! The photo above is Poctoy White Beach in Torrijos, Marinduque with beautiful and majestic Mt Malindig in the background. Some of the photos and videos on this site, I do not own. However, I have no intention on infringing your copyrights.

I am Related to Fernando H Lopez- Food Waste and Management in Newton's

I remember My Father telling me this when I was growing up in the Philippines

Fernando Hofileña Lopez (1904-1993) was a prominent Filipino lawyer, politician, and businessman who played a significant role in the Philippines' political landscape during the mid-20th century. Born in Iloilo City, Lopez hailed from a distinguished family with deep political roots. He pursued law at the University of the Philippines, where he honed his legal acumen. Lopez's political career began in the 1940s when he was elected as the mayor of Iloilo City. His leadership skills and dedication to public service quickly propelled him to national prominence. In 1949, he was elected as the Vice President of the Philippines under President Elpidio Quirino, a position he held until 1953. He served again as Vice President from 1965 to 1973 under President Ferdinand Marcos. Beyond politics, Lopez was a successful businessman, significantly contributing to the development of the Lopez Group of Companies, which became one of the largest conglomerates in the Philippines. His legacy is marked by his commitment to public service and his influence on the country's economic and political spheres.
My Food For Thought For Today:

Lastly, Here's the response of THD Management on my Recent Suggestion of How to Avoid Food Waste in Newtons. There were numerous response to my E-mail indicating Residents are also concern about Food Management and Waste.

Hello David,

We appreciate you reaching out and have reviewed your concerns.  I wanted to let you know that residents have always been welcome to request a half portion of any meal, and our kitchen staff is happy to accommodate those requests.  We understand that some residents prefer a lighter meal, while others enjoy the full portion, and our goal is to provide options that meet everyone's needs.  That said, I think it's a great idea to make this option more visible.  I'll be recommending to the management that a note be added to the printed menus to make it clear that half portions are available upon request.

Warm regards to all of you from the team at The Heritage Downtown. Jenny Shively
