Planning to Visit the Philippines Soon?

There are hundreds of tourists attractions in the Philippines. But as a lover of the Island of Marinduque (Home of the Morions and Heart of the Philippines), I am indeed partial to its beauty, charm and its friendly and hospitable residents. Therefore, help me achieve my dream of seeing this island becomes a world tourist destination, by telling all your friends and relatives about this site. Welcome, to you all, new readers and faithful followers of this site! The photo above is Poctoy White Beach in Torrijos, Marinduque with beautiful and majestic Mt Malindig in the background. Some of the photos and videos on this site, I do not own. However, I have no intention on infringing your copyrights.

The Elderly- Our Forgotten Generation

From My FaceBook Readings Today- My Heart Cried for Joseph and you will probably cry too!
Today is my 90th birthday. My name is Joseph, and I am sitting here, in a retirement home, with a plate of dumplings in front of me. I don't know who made these for me, nor who will wish me a happy birthday today. I have three kids but haven't seen them in a long time. They brought me here telling me it was for my own good, but time goes by, and the phone does not ring.

I am not angry, I am sad. Sad because, deep in my heart, I never stopped loving them, despite their absence. Sad because I don’t ask for much: just a hug, a word, a “Happy Birthday, Dad.” I just wish somebody would remember me today.

If you’re reading this message, give me a thought. Not because you know me, but because even a stranger can bring some warmth where there is silence. At my age, you live on memories and hope. And today, my hope is that this message gets to the hearts of those who have forgotten to value affection, before it is too late. ”
❤️
To all the dads and grandfathers that have been left alone, best wishes. You are loved, even if sometimes they don't tell you.

Attached is my recent readings on the Forgotten Generation💚

Many residents in America's care centers never have visitors –

not from family, friends, clergy or anyone from a church.

I’d like to tell you about one of the largest forgotten people groups in America. You might be

surprised and even shocked to learn that this group includes the precious people who reside

in our communities care centers. Many residents of America’s care centers never have

visitors – not from family, friends, clergy or anyone from a church. So how did this group,

once known as “The Greatest Generation,” become more like “the Forgotten Generation”?

The primary reasons are the increasing breakdown of the family unit and the geographical

relocation of remaining family members throughout the country. For Details visit:

Personal Note 1: I feel super lucky, I have not been forgotten. I feel grateful everyday that

I am still alive! To the Younger Generations: If you have Parents and Grandparents who

are elderly, please give them a call today.

Personal Note 2: In the early 1970's, Macrine( RIP) and I were couple leaders of the

Christian Family Movement ( CFM) in Kansas City, Missouri.  In one of our Monthly action

Macrine and I visited a local Senior Care Center. It was an experience, we will never forget.
